32.

Things have been busy around here lately, but that doesn't ever really seem to change!

Saturday I celebrated 32 years of life.  It was a jam-packed, wonderful weekend!

On Friday Brad and I went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens; during the holidays they stay open at night and have lights throughout the gardens.

These changed color flashed to the music they had playing!

We had a really nice time together just strolling through the gardens and taking in the pretty view.  We finished the evening out with some spicy Thai food and eavesdropping on some of the very entertaining diners at the restaurant!

Saturday morning I met some of my favorite ladies for tea and brunch.  It was lovely to spend the morning with them.  The weather outside was dreary but our little tea room was warm and full of happy chatter.

That evening my parents took Brad and I to dinner at Pappasito's where we stuffed ourselves to the point of discomfort (it's all the chips and salsa's fault!), and just when we felt we could all take a nap it was time to head to the night's main event.

My parents treated Brad and I to the Brian Setzer Christmas Extravaganza!!  I have loved his music for years and never had the chance to see him live.  My parents bought these tickets a while back to surprise me, and it was such a thoughtful and super fun gift!  (I did end up discovering the plan beforehand, but that didn't detract from the experience at all!).  The show was super high-energy from beginning to end, and I had a blast!  I just wish there had been room for me to get out of my seat and dance! ;)

It was kind of pointless to try to get a distant photo in a dark room, but I wanted to document it anyway!
Sunday I attended a delightful Christmas brunch in Atlanta hosted by sweet Molly and her cat Saffron.  I was in love with her apartment and all the details!  Everywhere you looked there were treasures and trinkets and lovely things.

I headed back north that afternoon for a very special someone's birthday party.  Nico turned ONE!!  It was a happy time celebrating our favorite one year old friend. :)

Unsure about that frosting!
(thanks to Lauren for the photos of the birthday girl!)

This week holds a few nights at home - hallelujah!  Then we gear up for more holiday fun with family and friends.  We have some special visitors coming this weekend so we'll be preparing for them this week, too.  So many things to do in the next few weeks - lots of busy times but lots of fun!  'Tis the season!
